BIO

School: Wesleyan University

Collegiate Group: The Spirits

Solos: Vincent

LAST KNOWN WHEREABOUTS:

Nick is entering into his sophomore year at Wesleyan University, where he plans on studying music composition and Italian. At school, Nick enjoys singing with his two a cappella groups, participating in lots of theatre, and playing his heart out on the pipe organ. Though he is from Hampden, Maine, Nick is a proud Nantucketer, having been born on the Vineyard’s sister (or rival?) island. He is beyond excited for the coming summer, and wants to thank his pet Pomeranian for always listening and giving feedback when he practices his singing.

BIO

School: Connecticut College

Collegiate Group: The Co Co Beaux

Solos: Shut Up and Dance, Change In My Life, Lay Me Down, Mama Said, Life is a Highway

LAST KNOWN WHEREABOUTS:

Charlie hails from the quiet suburbs of Weston MA, where he currently lives with his parents, three brothers (he’s the third of four), and his dog who, despite being stubborn, high-strung, needy, and just generally difficult, is still a very, very good boy whom he genuinely loves more than anything. He graduated with a degree in theater from Connecticut College in 2018 and has been acting since middle school. In 2017 he attended the National Theater Institute's Summer Theater Makers program at the Eugene O'Neill. He’d love to pursue film acting, but as a good friend of his always says, “much like the Pilgrims, he’ll settle.” Some hobbies that don’t have anything to do with acting or singing are playing the ukulele (though it’s mostly just random chords at the moment), doing headstands, and playing video games in his spare time.

BIO

School: Skidmore College

Collegiate Group: The Bandersnatchers

Solos: Feeling Good, Beyond the Sea, St. James Infirmary, Sweet Caroline

LAST KNOWN WHEREABOUTS:

Nick was born and raised in Camden, Maine, and is currently a rising senior attending Skidmore College. He chose a liberal arts education for a reason, and spent his first two years major-less before finally settling on music and history after realizing he’d be singing a cappella on an island all summer, and that his favorite things to watch whilst running on the treadmill are Ken Burns documentaries. Other hobbies of Nick’s include Mountain Dew, traveling around Japan, watching sports, and spending quality time with the people he loves. He would like to thank his parents, his grandparents, Elle, Clover, the Vets, and the Bandersnatchers for their continuing support in his endeavors, and the people of Martha’s Vineyard for including him in their beautiful island community.

BIO

School: College of William and Mary

Collegiate Group: The Gentlemen of the College

Nickname: Chuck, Chuckles

Solos: Southern Cross, Carolina in My Mind, California Dreaming

LAST KNOWN WHEREABOUTS:

Charlie will be returning to William and Mary in the fall for his 4th and final year to complete a degree in Classical Civilization. Hailing originally from Charlottesville, VA, Charlie has spent most of his life in the same state and is extremely excited to head north for a summer on Martha’s Vineyard (a place he has never been before!). While his position as music director for the Gentlemen of the College (W&M’s oldest all-male a cappella group) keeps him busier than he would like, he still finds time to relax with his friends, jamming on the cello and going out into nature whenever possible. Although his secret dream is to sing bass II, Charlie suspects that the musical leadership of the Vineyard Sound will, like directors before, force him up into his boyish falsetto to live out the rest of his vocal career as a tenor 1.
